August Favourites 2017

HOORAY FOR SEPTEMBER! Autumn is finally closing in and I am SUPER excited! So much so that I wrote this post about it.  Saying that, August was a pretty good month for me this year.

This month was the most productive month for my blog so far. Not only did I get more posts uploaded this month than I have in any other month so far, but I also gained more followers this month than in previous month and I finally have followers on my Facebook page that weren't just invited from my personal friends list haha! It's given me a bit of a confidence boost and I'm eager to continue growing my blog following.

With me uploading more posts you'd think I'd been sitting around doing nothing but no, I've actually been out more! I've been out and about and have socialised a bit more this month, which I think has done wonders for my mental state. I only have a picture from one meet up with the RWA girls, but I promise there were more.... mostly involving the pub and/or food.

And now for some fashion!

I FINALLY caved into a pair of Vans Old Skool this month. I'd been avoiding them for ages because the world and it's Mum seems to own a pair but I do like them and I wanted a pair of black pumps that will go with everything. They're also super comfortable (I mean they're Vans, of course they are) which means that they tick all my boxes.

I got this khaki flannel shirt from Primark and it was an absolute bargain at £8. I always have a red flannel shirt in my wardrobe that I use for layering during the colder months, and when I saw this I was just so drawn to the colour and thought that it would be nice to have a khaki shirt so that I can mix the colours up a little this Autumn. It gives off such grungey vibes I love it.

I also treated myself to this leather jacket from Missguided (No picture of me in it yet, sorry guys) after watching a Zoe London haul that featured it. Anyone who knows me will be able to tell you this jacket is SO me. It's a simple black jacket, with silver stars embroidered onto the sleeves just to give it that little bit of glam without being too in your face. I absolutely love it and I can't wait to wear it on a night out. I leave a link to the jacket in the caption of the picture.

And finally, I had my birthday this month! I turned 28 and didn't do anything spectacular, just out for food with Matt, which was nice.

Did you guys have a good Summer? Are you looking forward to Autumn as much as I am?
