My First Anti Haul

Hey everyone! I'm sure by now you've seen a whole bunch of bloggers upload their own anti hauls to the internet, it seems like a bit of fun and I figured why not post my own. For those who are new to this concept, it's basically sharing things that you won't be purchasing. I believe the original anti haul was done by Kimberly Clark on YouTube, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I should state before I begin that all of these opinions are my own and if you don't agree then that's totally fine - the world would be a very boring place if everyone was the same!

So without further ado, here are some fairly popular products that I won't be purchasing any time soon.

Bardot tops

I would love to wear bardot tops as I actually think they look really pretty. Alas, I have broad shoulders, and although I do believe that people should wear whatever they want, I don't like the way that they look on me and I just generally feel uncomfortable in them. Sadly, I won't be purchasing any bardot tops this summer.

Kylie Cosmetics

I have never been a fan of any of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, and where this brand is designed to sell products off the back of the family name, it has the opposite effect on me. The name alone puts me off the products. Then there's the drama from last year to consider, where customers were receiving half empty lip kits and some weren't receiving refunds when they asked for them. All of this was enough to convince me that Kylie Cosmetics, the lip kits in particular, aren't worth my time or money, regardless if any teething problems had have been resolved.

Unicorn/Mermaid related things

Don't get me wrong, I've seen some beautiful things (especially unicorn/mermaid inspired hair) but it's just not for me I suppose. It's cute but I just don't feel the need to spend my money on it, not even the make up brushes. I just feel a massive indifference towards this trend.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette

It seems like the world and it's mother owns this palette which I'm simply not drawn to. The thing I have with expensive eyeshadow palettes is there always seems to be a lot of shades that I won't wear, and this is no exception. There are a couple of pretty colours that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection, but overall I can't justify spending £40 on something that I'll likely use very rarely.

That's all for now, is there anything on my list that you would personally buy? Or do you agree with my thoughts? Let me know.
