Current Makeup Favourites ¦ April 2017

Hey guys!

I've been having a lot of fun playing around with different makeup looks recently, and I thought I share what products I have been loving lately!

Urban Decay Moondust Pallette

This honestly might be my favourite cosmetic purchase ever, and it is definitely my favourite eyeshadow palette that I own. I feel in love with it the first time I saw it and I eventually got it for my birthday last August. Initially I was only going to use it for wrestling shows and big nights out because of how ridiculously sparkly it is, but over the past few months I've grown confident enough to rock a glittery smoky eye during the day and it's more or less replaced the eyeliner flick (that I wore for years!) as my go-to eye makeup.

The colours in this palette are absolutely stunning, the shade I have reached for the most is "Lithium", which is a bronze shade with a gold glitter pigment. When I first got the palette I didn't see it as a shade that I would reach for all that much, but it really adds a touch of glam rock to an everyday look without being too in-yer-face.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

I don't really do neutral eyes a lot, which is why I opted for a smaller version of Urban Decay's Naked palette. There's only really two shades I use a lot in this palette, but I use them A LOT, and they are the shades 'Foxy' which I use as a base as it matches my skin tone (you'll see in the picture below how much I've destroyed that shade compared to the others) and the shade 'Crave', which is a matte black that I use on the outer V of my eyelid to create a smokey eye.

Sleek Limited Edition i-Lust Rockstars Collection Palette in 'Hidden Gems'

Sleek released two limited edition palettes as part of their Rockstars range at the end of last year, and while everyone was going loopy over the other version 'Diamonds In The Rough' (Think more rose gold tones) I completely fell for this one.

First of all, I love the holographic design on the packaging, it's pretty cool. Secondly, the reason I think I was so drawn to this palette was the silver shade (which I don't think actually has a name?) That light silver is the one shade that I felt was missing from the Moondust palette and with this purchase all of my glittery eye needs (yes, NEEDS) were met. I must admit I don't think I've actually used any of the other shades in this palette yet as they're not as pigmented as their Urban Decay counterparts, but at £7.99 it was an absolute steal and it was totally worth it just to get the silver alone.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I have very VERY hooded eyes, so I would not be able to do ANY of my eyeshadow looks without this magic stuff. Without this primer, any eyeshadow or eyeliner that I apply to my lids becomes a hot mess within about half an hour, there is transfer and creasing everywhere. When I have Urban Decay's primer on, not only does my makeup stay in place but it stays there for roughly about 16 hours. It really is incredible.

Barry M 'Matte Me Up' lip kit in 'Pose'

I already wrote a review about this product, which you can find here, but I figured I'd mention it again given that I've been wearing it a lot this past month. I usually like a bold, red lip if I wear lipstick, but this light pink colour has been a nice alternative for spring.

And those are my favourite makeup products of the moments. What have you been enjoying recently?
